Members of Local Union 246:
Today marks over one year, six months and thirteen days that Local 246 has gone without a contract. Time and time again our negotiation meetings have been canceled not only with us but along with our union’s brothers and sisters.
We also reached out to the Office of Mayor to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, no date was available in the Mayor’s schedule to meet with the Union. Our time is due. With over six hundred members in Local 246 working throughout the municipality we cannot wait any longer. We need a contract now!
